1. FACTIONS
Each community member will be eligible to choose a faction they would like to be a part of and will be assigned the role specifying the faction they chose. They have to choose wisely as once you they have picked their faction they will be tied to them forever competing against the other factions to prove they are the greatest amongst the Divergents!
MARS — ISKER
“Isker’s warriors are a bunch of rowdy, war-loving folks, organized into tribes that are always fighting each other for dominance. The strongest and most violent ones usually end up subduing the weaker ones, and this balance of power has been pretty stable for several decades now.”
URANUS — GADARA
“The people of Gadara have given up their foolish idol worship and now believe in knowledge instead. They see themselves as the protectors of knowledge and freedom, and only take up arms when necessary. Gadara tries to keep good relations with the other factions, they’re always open and respectful… just in case they need to kill them later.”
JUPITER — KERIN
“The Kerin faction is one of the most powerful factions in the galaxy. They are known for their direct combat skills and their ability to pre-emptively attack. They’re a reclusive bunch who don’t take kindly to outsiders and will blast any ship that comes too close to their home planet without permission…”
VENUS — ALKYR
“Don’t let their peaceful nature fool you. Alkyr’s Divergents are some of the most fierce and deadly fighters in the galaxy. They’re known for their use of toxins that boost their physical abilities or poison their enemies when applied to the blades of their weapons. So, if you ever find yourself on the wrong side of an Alchys, you better hope you’re prepared for a fight.”
NEPTUNE — TRITON
“The Tritons are a nation that has perfected the art of extracting and exploiting resources. The wealthiest ones live high on the hog, while the poorest are barely getting by. Their goal is to achieve perfection — or at least to get as close to it as they can. After all, why settle for anything less?”
2. GAME DESCRIPTION
What is it ?
In this text-based role-playing game, five factions fight for control of the Earth Metaverse. Upon joining the game, each player receives a level 1 Divergent with no equipment, no stats and a very low power level. This is an off-chain character specific to your discord profile.
Basic stats:
o Strength
o Resistance
o Agility
o Mental
… and many other secondary stats that you’ll discover quite quickly during your encounters with enemy factions!
Each Divergent progresses by earning XP and Kcoin by completing specific tasks — such as training, besieging ships, going on expeditions, attacking enemy factions or ambushing other Divergents.
A /gamehelp command is available to help you better understand the mechanics, but you might find unexpected easter-egg tasks if you start digging, we want you to have fun! Tasks are executed by writing /task_name in #adventure.
Each task has its own cooldown, its own output (earning XP, Kcoin, stats, gears), and its own way of working.
We invite you to discover them with caution because your Divergent can die if his HP reaches zero. If he dies, you’ll have to start over with a brand new level 1 Divergent, and play more tactically!
As you progress, you can increase the level of your Divergent by allocating extra points to his base stats. As he get richer, your Divergent can buy expensive equipment that changes his base stats, helping him win battles and earn better rewards.
What’s the objective ?
Divergents alone are weak, Divergents together are strong — Unity Is Strength
Factions are the key to success and rewards in this game. You must work together with your faction members if you want to survive. At the heart of your faction… is your faction’s treasury. Your goal as a Divergent and as a faction is to fill that treasury to the limit as quickly as possible. Only then can you claim the faction treasury and convert it into real rewards! Of course, it won’t be so easy to do this, as enemy factions will keep raiding your faction’s planet to steal your Kcoin and kill your team…
10% of the Kcoin you earn from each duel, ambush or faction raid will be allocated to your faction’s treasury. A faction’s treasury becomes unlockable when the chest reaches a certain amount of Kcoins.

Duel Mechanics
/duel @playername → duel another player. Earn XP and steal Kcoins if successful.
When a duel or an ambush is initiated, a post instance opens up between both players.
A fight is composed of a series of attack rounds. The first one to land the first hit is determined by the highest INI (Initiative).
Each attack round takes 5 seconds so that users can use one of three commands during battle :
/equip or /use — A user will have the option of equipping a weapon, armor, or item during a battle. If a previous weapon and/or armor was already equipped then it would update the equipped weapon and/or armor.
This will allow players to change up their battle tactics mid-fight and turn a battle in their favor. With only 5 seconds between rounds, players must think fast in order to deploy the best possible strategy./escape — This will allow the user to escape the duel at any stage after the first attack is made. However, there is always risk involved with this tactic as the probability of escape is 90% so there is a chance you cannot flee. Furthermore, if choosing to flee battle there is also a 10% you lose double the kcoins you would have lost if you chose to stick it out.
4. A winner is declared once one of the two players reaches 1 HP.
Ambush Mechanics
/ambush @playername → attack another player. (30mins cooldown)
Reduce the ambushed HP by 1.5x (attacker’s DMG) if the attack is successful. Reduce
the ambusher HP by 2x (defender’s DMG) if the attack is a fail.
If the ambushed dies, the ambusher loots everything. If the ambusher dies, the ambushed loots everything.
The winner of ambush gets x2 XP of /train and loser gets x0 XP of /train.
Faction Raids
/factionraid @namefaction → attack another faction as a group. Earn XP and Kcoins if successful.
A post instance asking which faction to attack is created.
After you will have 30 minutes to gather as many faction members to join the raid as you can.
Need a minimum of 5 people or the raid must be canceled.
When time is up and the faction raid is ready, the members of the attacked faction will be pinged regarding the attack and will have 20 minutes to put together a team to defend themselves.
At this time both groups power levels will be compared and the winners will be picked.
Losers lose half their max HP (50%).
Winners earn XP and the winning faction steals 10% of the kcoins from the losing faction’s treasury. These kcoins are moved from one treasury to another.
Winners of raid get x2 XP of /train and the loser gets x0.5 XP of /train.
Other executable actions
/train → earn XP (randomized result between 30 and 70 XP) or (5% + KARMA%) chance to lose HP. (3h cooldown)
/assault → earn Kcoins (randomized result between 0 and 500 kcoins) or (5% + KARMA%) chance to lose HP. (12h cooldown)
/divergent → check the statistics of your Divergent. Of course, your Divergent stats are only visible to you and no one else. A player can only view another player’s power level and faction.
/inventory → check the inventory of your Divergent. Same, only you can see your inventory.
/shop → buy items. Please make sure to use #shop for this command.
/potion → restore 5% of HP. (3h cooldown)
/meditate → restore 5% of CHAKRA. (3h cooldown)
/sleep → restore 10% of HP and 10% CHAKRA. (6h cooldown)
/revive “@playername” → revive a wounded ally and set him up back from 0 HP to 5 HP. When a Divergent reaches 0 HP and dies, his faction’s allies can /revive him during the first 5 minutes of the death.
/excursion → A risky command for a chance to win free gear. (12h cooldown)
30 — (0.5xKARMA)% chance to earn gear.
35 + (0.25xKARMA)% chance to lose HP.
35 + (0.25xKARMA)% chance to lose kcoins.
/factionleaderboard → show the current score per faction.
/mainleaderboard → show the top 20 individual leaders in power levels.
/ranking -> show the current power level of your Divergent and your rank among all the Divergents.
/mentor -> allows you to award a faction member who is still level 0 a small amount of XP and then notify him to “level up” and join the game. If the member accepts the XP and levels up then the mentor would reduce his/her karma by -1 if not already at 0. This command will only work for players who are at level 0.
/balance -> Shows the current amount of kcoins you own. Your kcoins are hidden from all other players. Only you will be able to see the amount of kcoins you own by using this command.
Trading & Purshasing used Items
With the commands below we looked to enable trading as well as purchasing items amongst players. With these commands, you can also give away kcoins and items for free if you choose to.
/giveitem -> Allows players to give their item to another player. The item being given will keep the amount of use it already had by the previous player. For example, if an item from shop has a duration of 5 uses and a player has already used it 4 times, then it will only have 1 use case left for when it is transferred to another player.
/givekcoin -> Allows players to give kcoins to another player.
Buying, selling, and trading amongst players will be based on an honor system so please make sure you are making and discussing all deals in the #shop and are following through with the deal from your side. Players who make deals and do not follow through can be reported and will face consequences.
Deaths & Faction ranking
Death means losing all your previous points, XP, level, and kcoins. Make sure to try and avoid this scenario and/or have an ally revive you within the 5-minute window.
The ranking of a faction in the leaderboards is determined by the sum of the power levels of all the Divergents of that faction.
